Corrie's Kym Marsh creates a new television series for herself with former Hollyoaks star
The actress - who quit her role of Michelle Connor in Coronation Street earlier this year - posted a first look at the completed script for her new show called Life Begins.Kym posted a picture of the script with the caption: "I literally cannot wait for what's ahead."
It is not yet known which channel the show will air on, but it has been revealed how Kym is already set to make herself millions when she leaves the soap. The actress – who earns a six-figure salary on the cobbles – will now be free to take on lucrative advertising work as well as other highly-paid acting jobs such as panto, telly dramas and reality TV.Kym, 42, has been forced to turn down a string of money-spinning ad jobs for make-up and fashion firms in recent years.A source said: “Kym will really be able to test her earning power now and the roles and ad work will come pouring in.
And Ryan – who left the Street in 2016 – is now closing in on his first million after stints in Neighbours and money-spinning panto, along with winning Celebrity Big Brother last year. Coronation Street stars are not allowed to plug or promote products while contracted to the ITV show – which has long been a source of anger for the cast.
