Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon pays emotional goodbye to co-stars as she films final scenes
Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon paid an emotional tribute to her on-screen family as she prepared to leave the soap.
Julia Goulding, who plays Shona Ramsey, wrote: “This makes me so sad but so excited to see where you go.... I predict far my love, bloody far! Love you Luce!” Instagram Her fans expressed their sadness at her character leaving the cobbles as one person wrote: “Should never be leaving. One of the best characters ffs.”
And a fourth fan said: “Nearly 5 years ago, bethany platt got outta that taxi n become one of THE BEST characters on the street n will foreva be.” [sic] “It’s hard to put into words how much this show means to me. I’ve made lifelong friends with some of the most talented and hardworking people in the industry, I’ve had some terrific and immensely important storylines and I’ve laughed with the best people everyday.
