The 32-year-old actress shared the news on Christmas Eve with a series of Polaroid snaps, showcasing her growing baby bump in red silk pajamas and a picture of her dog next to her hospital scan. She wrote: 'Merry Xmas Eve huns. I have a feeling next year is going to be a wild one.
' Sacha's Corrie co-stars were quick to congratulate her, with Brooke Vincent, Lucy Fallon, Ellie Leach, and Georgia May Foote expressing their excitement. Sacha had recently announced her engagement in October 2023, sharing a joyful selfie with her sparkling new ring. She also revealed that her engagement proposal took place on a boat at sunset. Michelle Keegan, who played Tina McIntyre in Corrie, sent her well wishes and also announced her own pregnancy. Sacha made history on Coronation Street as part of the soap's first ever lesbian couple.
