Simon Gregson, known for his role as Steve McDonald on Coronation Street, has revealed his new venture: a children's book called 'The Dream Dragon'. Gregson shared on Loose Women that he created the story to help his two eldest sons overcome night terrors, telling them about a dragon that vanquished nightmares. The idea blossomed over time, with colleagues encouraging him to write it down, eventually leading to the publication of 'The Dream Dragon' after 12 years.

Elsewhere in the interview, Simon opened up about his struggle with anxiety, revealing that he first noticed the symptoms in the 1990s. ‘It just hits you like a ton of bricks and makes you feel incapacitated,’ he explained.
