Tina O'Brien, who plays Sarah Platt in ITV soap Coronation Street, has shared some glowing holiday snaps with daughter Scarlett Thomas.

Taking to Instagram, the Sarah Platt actress shared the snaps with her 540,000 followers, who were quick to share their love for the post. ‘Finally the pictures we were dying for! What an absolutely gorgeous duo,’ Corrie co-star Channique Sterling-Brown, who plays Dee-Dee Bailey, said. ‘How are you aging backwards?’ Glenda Shuttleworth actress Jodie Prenger questioned alongside some flame emojis, while Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster, admitted: ‘I cannot stop looking at you.’ Meanwhile, fans commented on the likeness between Tina and daughter Scarlett, who she shares with former Corrie star Ryan Thomas. ‘She is 100% a mix of both you and Ryan!’ One said, while another added: ‘Image of her mother.’ The mother and daughter duo co-ordinated their outfits In one of the pictures, the mother and daughter duo can be seen cuddling up together in matching black outfits. In another, Tina joins Scarlett in a mirror selfie, this time with both actresses wearing red. Scarlett is no stranger to the spotlight herself, having starred in the reboot of BBC school drama Waterloo Road. Playing Izzy Charles, the young actress starred alongside uncle Adam Thomas, who plays on-screen dad Donte. Tina was glowing In series 13, Izzy left Waterloo Road to go and live with her aunt Mika Grainger, but returned in a later episode of the most recent series. Both Tina and Ryan have previously shared their pride over Scarlett’s success, with the Jason Grimshaw actor writing on social media after her first appearance in Waterloo Road: ‘What a time to be alive! ‘My little brother Adam, my little nephew Teddy and eldest daughter Scarlett take over the TV screen together as a family. ‘Talk about a proud moment for the Thomases! Tina was involved in some dramatic Corrie scenes ‘Wow. I can’t wait for you guys to see it. We watched it together as a family.’ Tina’s Corrie character Sarah was recently involved in some dramatic scenes, after the Platt’s home caught fire. It was later revealed that the arsonist had been Max Turner , who wanted to help get gangster Harvey Gaskell off David Platt’s back by claiming on the insurance. Unfortunately, his plan didn’t work out, and he soon handed himself into the police.
