Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has reportedly split from her husband Adam Crofts after rumours their marriage was on the rocks
Tina O'Brien and her husband Adam Crofts have decided to part ways, according to reports. It follows rumours that their marriage was on the rocks. The 41 year old Coronation Street star had been seen without her wedding ring on several occasions, fuelling the speculation.
It's now believed that the actress and her personal trainer husband, 39, called it quits three months ago after drifting apart. A source revealed that the couple's time together has come to an end. "Tina and Adam have ended their relationship and are spending some time apart," the source told The Sun. "They moved house at Christmas and have decided to live separately for the time being. Despite the split, the insider insists the two remain on good terms. "Tina and Adam are on good terms, they're still close and are committed to being a family, even if they're not together," the source shared with the publication. Interestingly, both Tina and Adam have unfollowed each other on social media. Insiders suggest their contrasting lifestyles played a significant role in the alleged breakup. "Adam and Tina lead very different lives," a source informed The Sun. "He is really into his fitness, while she really enjoys going out with her mates and having a dance, which just isn't for him." They added that this wasn't initially a problem, but as their children are growing up, the differences have become more noticeable. On Monday afternoon, Tina was seen sipping coffee in Cheshire, donning Adidas trainers, jeans, and dark shades as she relaxed with her dog - with her wedding band noticeably absent. In a touching post from last year, Tina had gushed about her partner. Sharing a WhatsApp chat screenshot on Instagram Stories, she captioned it "He's my everything!," reports the Mirror, as she tagged her significant other in the loving tribute. Lately, however, she's been tight-lipped about the relationship. In addition to being spotted without her ring, Tina recently traveled to Barbados with her 16 year old daughter Scarlett, leaving Adam behind. According to reports, it was Scarlett who inadvertently brought the couple together. Recounting the story in 2017, Tina shared how her then-two year old daughter had innocently approached Adam, sparking their initial conversation. "He was working on his computer and Scarlett went over and said: 'Hello, man,'" Tina fondly recalled. "He told us his name was Adam and we got talking," she added, marking the start of their romance. The pair went on to welcome their son Beau in 2014, followed by Adam's proposal to the actress in 2016, and eventually exchanging vows in 2018. Their New Year's Eve wedding that year at Manchester's King Street Townhouse was surrounded by close friends, family, and several Coronation Street colleagues.
