Coronation Street star Kate Ford appeared to leave the cobbles of Weatherfield this week - and now the actress who plays her has broken her silence
Coronation Street actress Kate Ford, who plays Tracy Barlow, has broken her silence after her character appeared to leave the cobbles for a final time on Tuesday night's episode. In the latest instalment of the ITV soap, Tracy was seen saying her goodbyes to her dad Ken Barlow and her daughter Amy Barlow after a toast The Rovers pub.
Kate first stepped onto the cobbles of Weatherfield as man-eater Tracy in 2002 - but her character first made an appearance in 1997 - and fans have seen her embroiled in an epic number of fall-outs, love triangles and feuds. In Monday night's episode, Tracy initially reunited with Steve McDonald to give their relationship another go, but after discovering he'd destroyed a note from new love interest Tommy about his move to Spain, she declared she'd decided to follow Tommy instead.
But her social media post of a train heading to "Orpington" could be a clear sign Tracy is indeed enjoying a cocktail or two on a beach somewhere in Spain.
