Coronation Street is reportedly gearing up for its most chilling storyline yet, involving a tragic secret from over 20 years ago.
Toyah later spoke to the police and was checked at the hospital, with several men in the area becoming suspects - including Peter Barlow, who was cleared by a DNA test. She struggled to cope and developed agoraphobia. A new storyline, with new producer Kate Brooks behind it, will see Toyah's stillborn baby - which was a result of her rape - dug up. "Apart from the fact that viewers are after some fun, this is a really dark and daring storyline, and some long-term fans might start to find faults," an insider told The Sun. It's believed the reported storyline has "caused a bit of a stir on set".
