Next week's Coronation Street sees Tyrone Dobbs emotionally confess to the police that Hope Stape started the fire at his and Alina Pop's flat.
Determined to protect her daughter, Fiz sticks to her story that she started the fire. Evelyn Plummer begs Tyrone to make her see sense, pointing out that Hope needs professional help. Later in the week, Fiz is released and the pair take their daughter to the police station where she confesses to starting the fire.
Her plan to seduce him by feigning interest in Byron unravels when Ryan Connor reveals she’s been googling quotes on her iPad. She’s left feeling humiliated and the rift between her and Ryan grows.
