Swain pushes Sally to give her opinion on whether Peter intended to kill Stephen, she tells Swain they should be out looking for her missing husband.
Things have changed again Peter Barlow was given some major news in Coronation Street after killing Stephen Reid . Yesterday , Audrey visited Peter at his flat and said Jenny knew that Stephen wasn’t going to kill her a few weeks ago, when he held a broken bottle to her neck outside the pub. This obviously contradicted Peter’s story, which stated he hit Stephen with his car because he thought Jenny would end up dead if not.
Sitting down next to him, Toyah reflected on going through a similar situation to Peter. Imran died as a result of the car crash he was involved in with Toyah Last year, Imran died as a result of the crash that happened when Toyah was behind the wheel of their car. In the aftermath, Toyah spiralled as she came to the realisation her actions caused a man to die – the same as Peter. Toyah told Peter that now, it’s incredibly important to find a way of coping with what’s happened.
