CORONATION Street star Sacha Parkinson has revealed she's engaged to her long-term boyfriend after a romantic holiday proposal.
The actress, who is best known for playing Sian Powers on the ITV soap, shared the happy news with her followers on Friday., 31, shared snaps of the special moment, with her husband-to-be getting down on one knee on a luxury yacht to pop the question. The pair could then be seen hugging tightly as the newly-engaged couple celebrated this huge milestone.
In another picture, Sacha could be seen proudly flashing her sparky diamond engagement ring at the camera.She then followed it with a series of emojis including a blue heart emoji and an engagement ring.WHO DARES WHINGEChannel 4Sian and Sophie later became the soap's first lesbian couple in the spring of 2010.After three years, Sacha made the decision to leave the soap filming her last scenes in November 2011.
In a statement at the time, she said her reason for quitting Corrie was to "work on other projects" .Her character Sian was due to marry her girlfriend Sophie but called the wedding off after she found out she had been unfaithful.Over the years, Sacha has appeared in many high profile TV shows.
