Coronation Street's Vicky Entwistle has asked everyone to pray for her missing godmother's grandson, as the search for 19-year-old Jay Slater in Tenerife continues
Coronation Street's Vicky Entwistle has shared an update on the search for missing teenager Jay Slater, who has disappeared in Tenerife. The soap star revealed her personal connection to the case, explaining that Jay is her godmother's grandson.
She also expressed hope in another message, saying: "It seems everyone is looking so that gives us all some hope that he will be found." On Tuesday, Vicky shared her distress online: "My God Mother's Grandson has gone missing. His Mother has flown out 7pm. To join the police search. Hope to God they find him. Please pray for him."
Jay has been unaccounted for since around 8am on Monday, 17 June, after heading to the island for a music festival.
