The actress left the show as Faye Windass last year. When her daughter Miley and ex-boyfriend Jackson returned to her life, Faye chose to leave Weatherfield to start afresh with her little family.
It was just after my birthday wasn’t it?’, she said during a chat with her parents. Ellie played Faye for over 10 years ‘And to think that when I left Corrie I kind of was like, “I don’t know what I’m going do, I’m really scared and I don’t know what’s gonna happen”.’ During her solo chat to the camera, Ellie went on to say: ‘On Corrie when I got told that they had a storyline for me but it was gonna be an exit storyline, obviously I was like, “Oh my god, my life’s over”.
