Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has made a 'not so glam' admission as she gave a glimpse into the secret behind her youthful looks. The actress, who is famed for playing Sarah Platt in the ITV soap, took to social media with a sweet snap cuddling up to her beloved dog as she had a day off from filming.
She then went on to share how she usually starts her mornings before heading to the Trafford-based set, and gave an insight how she keeps herself on top form. Captioning a picture of her various supplements, Tina wrote: 'When working at @coronationstreet we start early. 7.10am for costume, 7.25 for @corriemakeup. I find it hard to fit in breakfast before starting filming as clearly I don't wake up looking as glam as on-screen. So I make myself this funky looking shake. After sharing details of what she uses, she posed for a mirror selfie with her shake in hand before heading out the door. 'Ready to go...' she typed alongside the post. It comes after Tina stunned her co-stars and fans as she posed a string of snaps from her recent sun-soaked trip which she took with her daughter. The soap star was seen escaping the drama in Weatherfield after her character recently found herself and her fictional family at the centre of the action. While the drama continued on-screen, Tinarevealed she had headed off to sunnier climes in Barbados with her Waterloo Road actress daughter Scarlett, who she shared with her former Corrie star ex Ryan Thomas. Taking to Instagram following her return to the UK, Tina shared a string of snaps from her and Scarlett's trip to the Caribbean. Amongst the images, the soap star could be seen posing with her teenage daughter while also capturing them letting their hair down on the beach and enjoying dinners out and amazing sunsets. Alongside the post, Tina wrote to her hundreds of thousands of followers: 'Barbados with @scarlettjthomas26,' alongside a string of summer and holiday-themed emojis. Corrie co-star Sally Carman-Duttine was quick to respond, writing: 'I cannot stop looking at you,' alongside a string of crying face emojis and love heart eyes emojis. Jodie Prenger then commented: 'How are you aging backwards,' before adding a number of flame emojis. Channique Sterling-Brown replied: 'Finally the pictures we were dying for! What an absolutely gorgeous duo.' Lucy Fallon posted: 'gorgeous.' Former Emmerdale star Natalie Anderson gushed: 'Stunner!!' while former co-star and Hollyoaks actress Nikki Sanderson added: 'Wow,' alongside love heart eyes emojis.
