Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien and her husband, Adam Crofts, have reportedly ended their marriage after growing apart. The 41-year-old actress, who has been seen without her wedding ring on multiple occasions, is said to have split from Crofts, 39, three months ago, Mirror reported.
A source close to the couple confirmed the news, stating: ' Tina and Adam have ended their relationship and are spending some time apart.' The pair first began dating in 2011 before tying the knot in 2018, but recent speculation suggested their marriage had hit a rough patch. Now, reports confirm that their time together has come to an end. A source told The Sun : 'They moved house at Christmas and have decided to live separately for the time being.' Despite their split, the insider claims the pair remain on good terms. 'Tina and Adam are on good terms, they’re still close and are committed to being a family, even if they’re not together.' Both have now unfollowed each other on social media , fuelling speculation about their separation. According to reports, their differing lifestyles played a role in their decision to part ways. “Adam and Tina lead very different lives,' the source continued. 'He is really into his fitness, while she really enjoys going out with her mates and having a dance, which just isn’t for him.' While these differences weren’t an issue initially, it’s believed they became more noticeable as their children got older. Tina O’Brien was spotted enjoying a coffee in Cheshire on Monday afternoon, but it wasn’t just her drink that caught attention – her wedding ring was noticeably absent. The 41-year-old mum-of-two dressed casually in Adidas trainers, jeans, and dark sunglasses while spending time with her dog. In a nostalgic Instagram post from last year, Tina had previously praised her relationship with Adam, sharing a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation with her husband. 'He's my everything!' she captioned the image, tagging Adam in the heartfelt tribute. However, Tina has remained quiet on their relationship lately. She was recently seen without her wedding ring, and notably, took a solo trip to Barbados with her 16-year-old daughter, Scarlett, leaving Adam behind. Interestingly, it was Scarlett who reportedly played a pivotal role in the couple’s first meeting. Tina shared the story in 2017, recalling how her then-two-year-old daughter had innocently approached Adam while he was working on his computer. “He was working on his computer and Scarlett went over and said: 'Hello, man,'” Tina explained. “He told us his name was Adam and we got talking.” The couple’s romance blossomed from there, leading to the birth of their son Beau in 2014. Adam proposed to Tina in 2016, and they tied the knot in a New Year’s Eve ceremony at Manchester’s King Street Townhouse in 2018, surrounded by family and Tina’s Coronation Street colleagues.
