Coronation Street to resume filming next week with strict distancing rules after coronavirus lockdown
Coronation Street will begin filming again next week after production was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.But as lockdown restrictions are now starting to ease, the show has revealed their cast and crew will be back to work next Tuesday.
A further announcement stated: "Earlier today the production team began a health and safety induction to familiarise themselves with the new protocols that are now in place throughout the studios and on the Coronation Street set. "The new episodes will be scheduled following the instalments recorded earlier this year before the coronavirus pandemic halted production."
Andy Whyment, who plays Kirk Sutherland on the hit soap, told Good Morning Britain with Lorraine: "There won't be any kissing scenes.
