Coronation Street veteran teases 'unexpected' return to ITV soap Corrie
Coronation Street is preparing to welcome back a former character in a surprise move that has shocked the actress as much as the soap's fans.
Lauren's dad, who was one of the group, is currently in prison but she is set to make an unexpected comeback to the cobbles - and Cait has promised viewers will find her character very different this time around. "I got to be a part of such a big storyline. To get told I was coming back, it was so unexpected. She was meant to be a temporary character part of the storyline so when I got told she was coming back, I was so excited. I can now develop the character and we can see her in a different way. It wasn’t expected at all. I was so excited to find out the news."
She wouldn't be the only character to try to redeem herself as Max also saw the error of his ways after the group's true motives were exposed and has been attempting to get his life back on track.
