MORE than 350,000 Britons over the age of 50 may never find a job again after being made redundant during the coronavirus pandemic, a study has found.
Forecasts by the Office for Budget Responsibility, the fiscal watchdog, showed that 15 percent of furloughed workers will find themselves unemployed when Rishi Sunak's scheme ends in October. And because jobs schemes and recruitment are more geared towards younger generations, over 50s will be at a massive disadvantage as they try to find new work.
