A BA flight to Milan has been delayed as passengers refuse to fly over coronavirus fears, it is reported This morning's BA flight to Milan was reportedly delayed when at least three passengers refused to fly.
Molly Hunter, an NBC journalist on the BA flight to Milan, tweeted: "At #Heathrow, our BA #Milan flight is delayed - the captain just announced there are passengers on board who don’t want to travel due to #coronavirus.The global infection toll now stands at 79,116, with 2,470 having died from the killer virus as cases spiked in recent days.
Fears are mounting that the outbreak would grow into a pandemic with disruptive and deadly consequences for the rest of the world, following sharp rises of infections in Iran, Italy and South Korea.Although there’s been no reported deaths in North Korea, officials are trying to stop an outbreak of the killer virus.
