A paramedic has hit out at heartless thieves who ripped off a hand sanitiser dispenser from a hospital wall.
The paramedic urged people not to swipe the antibacterial gel as staff and patients ‘really need it’. In a post on Facebook, Jayne wrote: ‘This is the reality of the situation! A gel dispenser has been ripped off the wall next to the cancer unit!The sign above the dispenser reads: ‘Hand hygiene station. Visitors, patients, staff, all hands to the pump.Meanwhile, a hospital spokesperson revealed dispensers are being stolen everyday, with some grabbed from the end of patients’ beds.
Jayne’s impassioned social media post sparked a strong reaction from people online who blasted the ‘selfish’ thieves.
