DOCTORS are largely not confident the NHS will be able to cope with a second wave of coronavirus infections, with a medical expert warning the pandemic has left them 'exhausted and fearful'.
A survey by the British Medical Association found doctors are experiencing high levels of exhaustion and have little or no confidence over managing the huge backlog of missed patient care. The union said many doctors were found to have very little confidence in the NHS's ability to deal with the large backlog of misses, cancelled or postponed care.
