Donald Trump will host an election rally next Friday - and those attending will have to agree to not hold the president responsible if they contract COVID-19.
The president's campaign team confirmed he will host a"Make America Great Again" rally on 19 June at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
On the ticket registration page of his website, a disclaimer says those who register"are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present". It adds:"By attending the rally, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Donald J Trump for president, Inc; BOK Center; ASM Global; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury".
The United States has the highest number of coronavirus deaths in the world, with 113,652 as of Thursday and 2,016,630 confirmed cases, according to Johns Hopkins data.
