Coronavirus: Trump seen for first time since COVID-19 diagnosis as he is taken to hospital

BREAKING: US President Donald Trump has been seen boarding the Marine One helicopter to be taken to the Walter Reed Medical Centre on doctor's advice as a precautionary measure after testing positive for coronavirus. More on this breaking story:

A White House statement said:"Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days.

"Kayleigh McEnany, Mr Trump's press secretary told reporters:"President Trump remains in good spirits, has mild symptoms, and has been working throughout the day."AdvertisementIt comes after his doctor said the president"remains fatigued" but is in"good spirits", his doctor said.
