Soap fans have praised the 'best reveal ever' after Lauren Bolton's killer was unmasked on last night's Coronation Street
We saw Joel panic before a flashback played out of the moment he attacked Lauren in her flat in February. She's been missing since, with Roy Cropper charged with her murder. Amid Roy's release and with Nathan Curtis now in the frame, fans finally found out Joel was behind it all. The long-running ITV soap has aired every night this week, with 'groundhog day' episodes reliving the same night through different characters eyes, culminating in Joel being identified.
Plenty were shocked by the twist. @Meliden said: "Wow, wow, did not see that one coming. Not bad enough having a bent lawyer with Adam we now have a killer with Joel . Poor Lauren" as @clubfoot31 wrote: "Best reveal EVER!!! I spat my tea out... love Corrie SO much".
