Coronation Street fans are predicting a tragic twist in the plot that could see Gail Platt killed off by a fellow resident. The exit of soap legend Helen Worth, who has played Gail for 50 years, was confirmed back in June.
As a result, the soap brought back former star John Thomson, who plays Jesse, to be part of Gail's exit storyline. Last week saw Jesse return, revealing he and Gail had a holiday fling in Thailand.Tensions have risen since Gail decided to sell her and David's house to fund granddaughter Bethany's medical bills, according to Liverpool Echo.
