Viewers of the ITV soap have been left hoping for more than friendship
Coronation Street fans have predicted - or are at least are hoping - for wedding bells for two of the show's best-loved characters.
Evelyn has found herself cast out of the home she was sharing with her grandson Tyrone Dobbs and his family after the arrival of her daughter Cassie Plummer. Unbeknownst to Tyrone, his biological mother was still alive despite his grandmother telling him previously that she was dead after they first met a number of years ago.
But it's proving not to be harmonious between the pair, starting with Evelyn being left unimpressed that she had been woken at an early hour by Roy listening to the Shipping Forecast. She then issued orders for Roy to get some shopping before some words from Tyrone left her taking on the task herself.
