Coronation Street star Jacob Roberts may have hinted at his involvement in Joel Deering's downfall in a recent social media update. The actor recently arrived in the ITV soap as new cop Kit Green.
A comment about her past triggered Bernie to eventually admit to her partner Dev Alahan that she had given birth to a third child. She She then went searching for the son, Zodiac, she gave up and when she found Kit, he lied and said he wasn't adopted but it was later confirmed that Bernie had found her long-lost son.
But Corrie fans may be left wondering if Kit could come good when it comes to Joel getting his comeuppance. Earlier this week, Calum Lill, who plays the soap's evili solicitor, was seen taking part in back-to-back night shoots for the long-running show's upcoming scenes. Channique Sterling-Brown, who plays Weatherfield's Dee-Dee Bailey, then revealed that they did manage to surprise Calum on set. As it was his birthday after all, a video on her Instagram Story shows her presenting her co-star and pal with a cake with burning candles as she and the crew sang to the birthday boy.
