Corrie legend Bill Tarmey’s son Carl Piddington has died after a 10 year battle with a brain tumour
CORONATION Street legend Bill Tarmey’s son Carl Piddington has died at the age of 52, ten years after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
His father Bill, who died in November 2012, famously quit his role as Jack Duckworth to spend more time with his son after his diagnosis.In 2017 Carl, who worked as a builder for 20 years, opened up about his condition and his desire to beat it. "I must be indestructible like Captain Scarlet. We spend a lot of time together so I talk to my tumour, telling it 'you're not going to beat me'.
