Corrie’s Alexandra Mardell’s wedding details – soap pals, power cut and surprise outfit swap
Coronation Street star Alexandra Mardell tied the knot to her actor husband Joe Parker on Sunday 19 March at The Tithe Barn in Bolton Abbey, Skipton, North Yorkshire, in front of 90 guests.
Alexandra, 29, was also joined by her former Corrie co-stars Sair Khan and Charlotte Jordan, who play Alya and Daisy on the ITV soap. "My first thought was, ‘I just hope the venue isn’t down as well!’ One of my groomsmen got us all some bacon sandwiches.”She also revealed that she was half an hour behind schedule, but it was all worth it when Joe saw her for the first time.The couple, who got engaged in April 2021, chose Smooth by Carlos Santana for their first dance, with Alexandra changing into a jumpsuit from Nadine Merabi, which was a “surprise” for Joe.
