When lockdown hit, and the cast and crew suspended filming at the Salford-based set, Colson packed up and went back to his family. It was then, he previously told the Manchester Evening News, that he chose to put himself first after spending so long being a self-confessed "people pleaser''. Now, Colson has taken to Instagram to share some snaps of himself in Bruges, posing with his medal, as he completed his latest running challenge. "The Great Bruges Half - 1:31:18," he typed alongside the post to his 180,000 followers.
Andy Whyment, who plays his on-screen step-dad Kirk Sutherland in the ITV soap, wrote: "Well done mate." Jenny Connor actress Sally Ann Matthews shared: "Oh wow! Congrats, while Paddy Bever, known for playing Corrie's Max Turner, added: "Big slay."
