The Billy Mayhew actor's social media post was quickly flooded with comments
Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank has melted fans' hearts as he shared a five-year update. Fans of the actor, who plays Billy Mayhew in the ITV soap, will know he's an animal lover and his caring nature doesn't just stretch to the character he portrays on-screen.
Then, in February 2020, Daniel and Colin got a friend. "I would like to introduce you all to the newest addition to the family... Colin now has a sister, Jean!!" the actor shared alongside a photo of him cuddling up to his new Dachshund pup. "Huge thanks to the @DogsTrust again for all their amazing support."
"Please let me introduce you to the latest member of the Brocklebank household," he captioned his adorable post before adding: "Dorris. A huge thank you to the @dogstrust for their help." Sharing a sweet selfie of the pair, with Colin dressed in a knitted blue outfit with pom-pom ears, the soap star said: "5 years today since Colin came into my life. He’s the goodest of good boys. Life has changed a lot since he arrived but life wouldn’t be the same without him. Huge thanks to the @dogstrust for introducing us."
