In a post on the official Corrie social media channels, some of Alan's co-stars were seen issuing messages of support to Alan. Liam McCheyne who plays Weatherfield's Dylan Wilson, kicked off by saying: "All the best for the jungle, mate. You'll absolutely smash it, have a great time and I'll see you when you're back. Take care."
Sue Devaney, who plays Debbie Webster, recorded her messages alongside a basket of treats Alan won't have any access to whole on basic rations in camp, while Jack, famed for playing David Platt on the cobbles, said: "Alan, Jack. Wishing you the best of luck on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. But Jack's new hair caused a distraction as fans responded to him undergoing the chop. His message also left some demanding he become a campmate next year.
