Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has responded to the show's latest scenes in which her character Lauren Bolton was seen rekindling a romance with Max Turner.
Lauren and Max, however, have grown close over the last few months, following Lauren’s return to Weatherfield after she went missing earlier this year and was presumed dead, only for her to return and reveal she was a victim of groomer Joel Deering. Lauren finally dropped a bombshell that she and Max had slept together, leaving Bobby gutted. But when Max later went to speak to him and told him a potential romance wasn't as important as their friendship, Bobby gave him the green light to give things another chance with Lauren.
