Corrie's Sam Aston's wife Briony said she wanted to 'break the taboo' about miscarriage as she shared the heartrending news that she's suffering a second miscarriage
Briony Aston shared the heart-breaking news on Saturday morning that she was "miscarrying again", the second loss in four months.
"This is a difficult thing to share, but in the interest of breaking the taboo, I'm miscarrying again, the second time in four months," she wrote. "It's heartbreaking and it's unfair, BUT I'm not seeking sympathy, I feel well supported and want others to feel supported too." Briony and her childhood sweetheart Sam, who celebrated his 30th birthday this month, already share two young children - Daisy Josephine, born in May last year, and Sonny James, two - but have hopes to expand their family.
Her followers were quick to commend her honesty, with one writing: "Thank you for sharing! So important that we all share these stories if we feel able, because so many people feel like they’re the only one when actually this is so common. Sending love x".
