Coronation Street star Todd Boyce is impressed with how Stephen Reid's killer storyline is playing out as he unravels on screen, leaving viewers wondering who is next.
Next week, another of Stephen's lies is set to be uncovered as Angelique tells Stephen she won't be renewing the Nippersnapper contract. Stephen tells Carla Connor, Sarah Barlow and Michael Bailey that she would consider buying the company outright. After discovering that both Gail and Audrey knew about Gabrielle’s treatment of Stephen, Sarah decides to give her a call. Audrey shows the equity release letter to Sarah and wonders if it’s got anything to do with the visit she had from an estate agent.
Todd said: "It is very clever. I like the way the story is developing and how all these little things are starting to add up. For now he still feels that he can talk his way out of all these situations but actually the walls are starting to close in on him, how is he going to explain the equity release letter, what is his mental health like now as he struggles with the inquiry into Rufus’ death.
