Fans think the soap villain's killing spree isn't over
The character, played by Calum Lill, has emerged as the Cobbles' latest villain as he was confirmed as Lauren Bolton's attacker. The defence solicitor currently holds all the cards as he is representing the person falsely accused of being Lauren's killer.
However, Joel smoothed over the awkward interaction by taking the grand steps of proposing to Dee Dee, who has no idea who he really is. Fans were distraught as Dee Dee accepted the proposal. @Bsupport73 commented, alongside a tearful emoji: "It’s only occurred to me when watching #Corrie tonight that Joel will probs have something to do with Gail’s exit."
