'Up to 10' more CosMc's locations are set to open across the Dallas and San San Antonio metro areas in the coming months.
McDonald's has officially launched its new offshoot, CosMc's, a small-format, beverage-led concept inspired by a nostalgic alien character from the company's past.The breakfast-focused restaurant is based on McDonald's beloved, extraterrestrial mascot from the '80s and '90s. The first CosMc's location opened in Bolingbrook, Illinois, near McDonald's headquarters, with additional locations planned in Texas, including the Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio areas.
Its 15 customizable caffeinated drink options to combat the '3 p.m. slump.' Those include the chain's Sour Cherry Energy Burst, Popping Pear Slush and Sprite Moonsplash — a Sprite-based drink with citrus and vanilla served with dried blueberries and lemon wheel over ice.In addition to a few McDonald's food classics, CosMc's savory offers include a Spicy Queso Sandwich, Savory Hash Brown Bites and Pretzel Bites served with dipping sauces.
