From then, casual swimming will increase from £3 for adults and £1 for children and concessions to £4 for adults and £2 for children and concessions. Exclusive lane swimming hire will go from £10 to £15Badminton court hire will go from £9 for adults and £6.50 for children to £11 and £8.Outlining the changes, Glasgow Life said: "Glasgow Sport prices have remained unchanged since 2018, but like everyone else we are facing increasing costs.
"Glasgow Life is increasing sports charges as a result of these financial pressures. The changes are benchmarked against a sportscotland review of charges from 2021/22, where comparable prices can be found." It was announced in the council's budget review that Glasgow Life would be forced to make savings of £7.15 million.
