Wholesale retail giant Costco has recalled smoked salmon packages for possible listeria contamination.
Costco has issued a recall of Kirkland Signature Smoked Salmon for possible listeria contamination A listeria outbreak affecting about 10million pounds of meat has expanded and caused wholesale retailer Costco to recall another product from its shelves. Costco is recalling salmon over concerns of possible listeria contamination. Kirkland Signature Smoked Salmon sold from October 9 to 13 is under the recall that was announced in a notice to Costco members on Tuesday.

Costco announced plans to raise membership fees for the first time since 2017 with a $5 jump to $65 a year from $60. The voluntary recall comes a couple weeks after the US Department of Agriculture updated a list to recall millions of pounds of meat in frozen dinners and packaged salads.
