More than 250 people are already objecting to the plans for 120 homes in Telford.

The plans have been resubmitted and the developer said changes have been made to the proposed way to access the site

Plans for 120 homes in part of Shropshire would be "to the detriment of the area", a parish council has warned.Agents Berrys said the plans were resubmitted with an improved access plan after consulting with people in the area. But more than 250 people have written to object to the scheme and St Georges and Priorslee Parish Council said the objections "show the passionate dislike of the proposed development".The parish council said St Georges does not have the infrastructure to cope with the development and the proposed access to the site would not improve traffic in the area.

It said building homes there "would cause massive disruption particularly at peak times thereby negatively impacting the local area". The developer's agent said their new junction design was better and came after an extra consultation exercise with residents in the area.Follow BBC Shropshire on
