Teams will be clearing discarded waste along the roads from Monday, March 18, until Tuesday, March 26, in various locations.
South Lanarkshire Council workers will tackle litter on rural roads in Clydesdale as part of an ongoing clean-up programme.
“Our teams work hard throughout the year trying to keep our environment clear from dumped litter and rubbish. “Litter and rubbish costs public services time and money that could be better spent on other things. Neither the council nor local communities are prepared to tolerate this, and we aim to stamp it out.
