However, its planning committee has demanded the five return to holiday use and that permanent use for all of the properties "shouldn’t have happened". In 2019, the council was alerted about the use as permanent homes and the owner of the barns was contacted.A report to the council said: “Whilst seven of the units may be immune from enforcement action, this does not mean the remaining units should also be allowed to become lawful permanent residential dwellings.”
