Councillors met with singer turned campaigner Feargal Sharkey to discuss Hertfordshire's waterways, as their party threatened prison for water bosses.
Labour councillors Matt Turmaine and Stephen Cox discussed Hertfordshire’s waterways at Labour Party Conference, where the Undertones vocalist was guest speaker. Mr Sharkey pushed for action to save Britain’s waterways, pointing to there being no rivers in the UK with a good environmental health rating from the Environment Agency.
