City of Victor Harbor Councillor Carlos Quaremba explain why councils should stay out of political activism as it is “not their job”, as reports show councils putting money away in support of the Voice referendum.

“Councils’ jobs are to pick up the rubbish, fix the roads, and keep the rates as low as practically

possible,” Mr Quaremba told Sky News host Cory Bernardi. “We don’t need to be educated by the local councils.”
