Lauren Alaina cancelled upcoming shows after her father recently passed away.
The musician announced her father’s passing on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday.. “I want to let y’all know that I’m not able to play the three shows I had scheduled for this weekend in Savannah, Virginia Beach, and Charlotte as I am going home to be with my family. Thank you for your prayers and understanding. Pinky.”
She had concerts scheduled for Savannah, Georgia, on Thursday; Virginia Beach, Virginia, on Friday and at the Carowinds Summer Festival Series 2024 in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Saturday. “The American Idol” alum and her father were close with him attending many of her concerts in the past. The 29-year-old shared a Father’s Day message to Instagram.
