The system in the Gulf is expected to form into a tropical storm later Tuesday and then rapidly intensify as it moves north through the Gulf of Mexico.There is no need to bring any shovels. They have all the supplies needed to fill the bags on site.St. Johns County will provide free sandbags from 12-5 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, as long as weather permits at the following six locations:The sand and bags will be provided free of charge.
