A man who was found dead outside a County Monaghan hotel suffered a serious head injury, gardaí have confirmed.
A post-mortem examination was carried out on the man earlier, but the pathologist has not yet determined the cause of death.Gardaí said it was not clear if he suffered the injury accidentally or deliberately. They said they were continuing to treat his death as "unexplained" and that his body may have been at the gates of the hotel for some hours before he was discovered.Irish broadcaster RTÉ
