The Wisconsin couple danced their first dance while sheltering in the basement at a resort.
They say rain on a wedding day is good luck. But a tornado warning crashed one Wisconsin couple's big day. Alex and Sarah Schilke danced their first dance as newlyweds under a cellphone light in the basement of Grand Geneva Resort in southeastern Wisconsin on Saturday night. 'We had a different song picked out for our first dance. We had actually done dance lessons for weeks, and all that, and it didn't work out,' Sarah said. Fate had another plan for the couple's big day.
'Strangers come up to me various times saying, Hey, we have this guy that was supposed to be on 'The Voice.' He was supposed to open for Dave Matthews tonight. He said he would play a song for you guys. Have you had your first dance?' Sarah said. Shortly after, an impromptu first dance the pair will never forget. 'I don't cry in front of people, but I couldn't help myself,' Sarah said.
