Campaigners and asylum seekers won their Court of Appeal challenge as the Master of the Rolls and Lord Justice Underhill ruled that the policy is not lawful. However, the Lord Chief Justice agreed with the High Court’s decision previous decision that Rwanda is a safe third country. Meanwhile, the Privileges Committee has published a report naming seven Tory MPs and three peers who were part of a campaign to undermine its inquiry into Boris Johnson’s Partygate denials.
