Key man Jamie Allen is a major injury worry for Coventry City's up-and-coming trip to Leeds United. The midfielder was forced off in the first half of Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Swansea City after suffering a knee injury.
When asked on the severity of the injury, Sky Blues boss Mark Robins said: “He’s got a knee ligament injury, so he had to come off. He twisted it. I don’t know how bad it is yet but it’s a knee problem and we’re hoping it’s not a really serious one.” “One or two are looking like they are really struggling all of a sudden, and that doesn’t make sense,” said Robins. “It’s not like us and it is one of those things where I can’t just put it down to experience and move on. There are things that with one or two individuals that clearly weren’t quite right. So we have got to get to the bottom of that.
“But not to move, to be frozen and to be really out of the game, and I am sort of trying not to embarrass people at the moment because there’s clearly something not quite right. But I have got to get to the bottom of something with an individual or two.”
